A dinky little wrench with a number next to it came on one day. It started counting down from 1200, and is now at 800.
The manual says when it is done counting down I should take it for a checkup. Assuming this is a 11 year old car and runs totally fine, should I follow these instructions? I see that many people tend to just reset their FSS counter, but I don't think I know enough about this counter to reset it.
So how much care should I put into this thing? Do I take it for a checkup at the dealer, only to have them tell me about the XXX.XX dollars of repairs my car "needs"? Or do I reset and forget about it because my car seems to run fine?
Thanks for the help, guys!
