Balo or Meyle For OEM Rear Rotors?

Autohauzaz.com sell both although the Meyle are $12 less per rotor. Both are made in Asia/India. Does anyone have real-world experience with either one? I would not mind saving $24 if they are equal quality.

I am trying to decide also. So which brand have you decided from autohauz? And how are they preforming so far>

I have used Meyle rotors and they work just fine, have about 30k on em right now.

I have used Meyle on W126 series as well and never have had issues, so save some pennies and get em

Zimmermann For me all around, 30k on the rears and about 5k on the fronts

i think that either of them will be fine, so why not go with the cheaper ones. they are both going to be oem quality. also they are rear rotors... so they wont do as much work as the fronts.

Go with the cheaper ones. You won't have any issues. I ordered from autohaus and got the cheaper of the bunch with zero issues. Very easy DIY as well.

Since this rotor question has been answered. I would like to ask what you all think of a related question...

I am looking at getting some rear pads from Autohaus. They have Textar, Mintex and some other brands.

My local Autozone has some brake pads that look like these on Autohaus and are similarly priced. I don't know much about any of these pads' quality and price being the same can I go with my local autozone brand? All are semi-metallic and the dealer says the ones they have for me are semi-metallic as well and are 2.5 times the price.

Anyone use generic brands and how were they?

to op, regarding rear rotors meyle will be just fine, so go with the cheapest. front rotors though i would stick with balo/zimmerman/ate.
to mb202, i would highly recommend against the generic autozone brand pads. the semi-metallic will produce horrible amounts of dust and wear out too fast, and the ceramic ones will destroy your rotors quick. the only semi-metallic i would recommend are the german made oem ones like mintex, pagid, ate, textar... which will produce some dust, but have great performance. i have never used akebono ceramic pads, but members here seem to use them a lot and like them. i personally prefer axxis/pbr deluxe brake pads, they are cheap, produce no dust, and performance same as oem pads. also textar makes some ceramic fusion pads.
autohausaz as always has great prices. i also like bmaparts, they have bigger selection in brake pads/rotors and also have good prices.

what do you guys think of "Beck/Arnley Premium Organic" brake pads? These are German stuff and some people I've read online say they are good but wear a little fast. And I need them for my rear wheels anyway.
