Just finished a brake upgrade on a 94 C280. 96/97 C36 front calipers with OEM rotors and Mintex pads. What a difference these calipers made, getting on the brakes now feels like dropping an anchor. Best of all the pedal feel is much improved. Since my setup is from a 96 and later car I also had to change the hubs...just a few milimeters is the difference between the parts fitting and not.
ive actually been thinking about doing this for a long time now, however i never thought about the amg brakes.
i have 18" wheels now and the brakes look so tiny in there lol. should any brakes from any mercedes work? or is there a year that i have to worry about not exceeding?
i realize there is stuf like esp/asr and other things that my car does not have, but if my car doesnt have them, the brakes should still work right, if its taken from a newer car with those features?
would i need to change the brake lines and resevior too?
some companies make big brake kits, but they are way too expensive in my opinion.

What I have read is that the C32 brakes bolt up. As you have a 95 W202 you will also need to change the hubs to the later versions like I had to. I got the calipers at a really good price so it made sense for me to go the C36 route. Even owning a C36 to compare parts side by side and spending hours in research....my install was filled with a few bumps and gotchas. In the end it was all sorted but it was hardly a one hour swap.
