Vacuum line replacement?

Please reference the attached gif file...

While inspecting the vacuum lines on the front of the engine, I found this line damaged and have temporarily repaired it...

I need the pipe labeled "br" that you see to the right of the check valve (128).

Also, on the same diagram, can anyone give me the part number for the item Y58/1 ?

While i'm working on this system, is there anything else that you can recommend that I replace?

Thanks!

Jason

MOT Purge Valve

Most all benz parts have part #'s on them, if you can't find the hose online I would suggest just taking the car to the benz parts area, pulling the hose off and bringing it up to the parts counter. Might be 5 bucks.
This is a good place to look up part #'s

Is this the other item you are referring to? (see pic.) If so why do you plan on replacing this part? B

That looks like the part, is that the purge valve? I was looking over old service records that the owner provided me and on one of them, the mercedes mechanic recommended that the pure valve be replaced to rectify the CEL. They didn't mention the code, but the previous owner told me the light always came back on several days after he left the shop and he didn't worry about it.

I have it checked when I bought it and the code is P0441 (i think), and it referenced the purge valve or emissions system.

I would get the new hose, clear the code and see if the CEL comes back, if not try cleaning the part, might just be gummed up. Here are some prior posts that may help. B
