Question Problems With 1997 C280 A/C and Climate Control

Hello,
I have a 1997 mercedes c280 and I'm having some troubles with the A/c and climate control. When I turn the temperature to "Low" or 52 degrees which is the lowest temperature where you would expect the A/C to come on, warm air just comes out. I have tried recharging the system with the proper refridgerant but nothing changes. The A/C compressor does come on and runs so I don't think that's the problem. The other functions with the dashboard control unit work fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what's wrong or what I should do? Thank you.

Have you attempted the CCU diagnostic?

Have you tried the CCU diagnostic procedure? If that checks out o.k. then you may want to put dye leak detector in to see if there is a leak in the system. You can purchase a inexpensive a/c guage at most parts stores to also check the high and low side operating pressures. B

Ok, i have a similar issue. I know how to run the diagnostic test on the head unit, but don't know what the normal numbers should be?
