Im working on a 1996 c220. The engine wiring harness was completely destroyed. im pretty good with electronics so i pulled the harness out of the car and rewired the whole thing.. in the end i found i have one wire left and i dont know where it goes. on the front of the engine there are several connectors. 3 of them have identical two pin plugs. facing the car there is one on the upper right, one a little to the left and one below that one. the one on the right has 2 wires on the upper pin and one on the lower, the one to the left has 1 wire on each pin, and the one thats below that one has 2 wires on one pin and 2 on the other. the stray wire goes in this area of the harness. does it go the middle connector or does it go to the ground that is above that gets bolted to the block with the star shaped screw? if no one knows is there anyone here from around miami and i can tell by looking under your hood.
