will these rims fit?

i have a totally stock W202 c280 from 95. then i've seen some OEM mercedes-benz rims. the only size i can get is 8,5 J x 18 ET 43.

will these rims fit my car without any problems or mods? and what size of tires do i need?

The ET is wrong for the W202, you need a 25 for 18x8,5 rims.

This is the link I use to help me find the other rims that fit the W202.

18x8.5 35 225/40R18 18x10 30 255/35R18 Carlsson

Two tire sizes on a line are front and back in staggered setups. The last three on the list with 35 ETs have a bunch of footnotes attached that state you will need to modify the wheel openings to fit.

I also use the entire chart to identify the other platforms that used these rims to help locate them in the for sale sections.

Good luck and good hunting!

and i think that the wheels with ET35 WILL fit because on my last w202 i was rolling on wheels with ET37 and there was a lot of place left

1) 255 is a doable width on an 8.5 in rim. So it should work..

2) I don't have any first hand experience with the larger end of the wheel fitment chart, so perhaps you are right but were your last w202 rims 18x8.5? If you notice all the sizes below about 18x7.5 use 37.

As the width of the rim increases the ET number also needs to change. If your old rims were 7.5 with 37ET and you go to a 8.5 with 37ET, you have just pushed that wheel out about 1/2 inch, which could be a problem with fender clearance somewhere during the suspension travel. The switch to a 25ET on the 8.5 rim pulls the wheel back into the fender 12mm or .47 inch keeping the face of the wheel in almost the same place.

If you decide to try the 8.5 with 37ET let us know how it works.

i just think i'm gonna try out with the 8,5 x 18 with ET 35. but in the front i dont know if the 255 tire will fit because if i put on 225 the rims will be a bit longer out than the tire and it will be scratched easily
