Door Lock Problem 1995 C220

All keyed entry locks on my '95 C220 work except for the driver side lock/unlock. Door locks will open and close from trunk and passenger side only.

Does anyone know the cause of this and what I need to do to remedy the problem. If anyone has a DIY on installing or cleaning the part(s) it would be appreciated.

Thank You

Send a message via Yahoo to doin12volt
the door lock link that connects the key cylnder to the actual lock mechanism has broken, i know, it happened to mine too... I made new ones myself , but i can also get you the mercedes part # if you just want to order a new one.

Thank you, I would very much appreciate the part number. Did you replace it yourself? How difficult of a job was it?

Any info or direction on attempting this myself would be appreciated. Feel free to email me directly.

Thanks again
Jonathan

Doesn't this happen when someone tries to break in, by trying to open the lock with a slim-jim, or coat hanger?
