c220 fuel leak, PLEASE HELP!

I have a 1996 C-220 and I noticed a fuel leak about a week ago dripping out from near under the differential so I removed the right rear tire to trace where it was coming from...... I traced it to a rubber hose leading up to some sort of box (looks like an air-intake box) around the fuel filler neck.... I don't think this hose is the main fuel line, but then I read that if you overfill your fuel tank, it can leak out, so I figured I might of just overfilled the tank but now it is leaking again and i only have half a tank of fuel now.....what could this problem be? Any help will be more than appreciated!!!

You had a look at the fuel filter and pump? - with the key turned on?

Try the charcoal canister connection - have you overfilled your tank lately? - canister might have been flooded - it's on the other side however

Maybe the fuel expansion reservoir connections

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good set of manuals for a C250D similar to those screen shots above? in the UK we have Haynes manuals which are rubbish -

I have just changed the fuel filter but have no idea where the sealing washers go (only one on the unit I took removed), really need an exploded view of the assembly.

Thanks,
