just curious who out there has most miles on car and how is it at this time. could kinda gauge whaen to expect what, repairs wise that is!!
i have a 95 c36 with 156K.....is that the most out there? let me hear.

I hope to catch up with you, I've got a '95 C280 with 116K and counting. I've had the classic repairs with this car. Wirring harness replaced, Rear oil seal, water pump, engine head gasket replaced, antena mast replaced, EGR Valve, MAF Sensor replaced this week.... You know the usual stuff with this many miles. Other than that, I've really enjoyed the car and especially when I put it out on the road for longer trips. My goal is to turn 200K on my C-Class then upgrade to a '03 E320 Starmark vehicle.

157K TODAY AND I FINALLY HAD(SORT OF) TO REPLACE AMG MONOBLOCKS AS CLEARCOAT HAS BEEN CHIPPING AWAY FROM SALT CORROSION. CAR LOOKS GREAT, WATER PUMP, WIRING HARNESS,HEAD GASKET, DRIVESHAFT CUPLERS, BUT VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOW SOLID CAR IS. I HAVE HAD AN 86 BMW 535 WITH 145k, A 78 CELICA WITH 140k AND A 65 CHEVY IMPALA WITH 125k AND NONE WERE ANY WHERE NEAR AS SOLID AS BENZ AT THIS STAGE OF LIFE. ALL BUT CHEVY WERE OWNED SINCE NEW AND ALL I CAN SAY IS OVER 125K IS WHERE BENZ' REALLY SHINE..........

ya gotta love mercedes engineering, i gotta 92 190e(w201) and im runnin at 278,000mi w/ no current problems, i bought it off a 65+ year old man, who bought it off a elderly lady from florida(usa), the car is in ammacualte condition....i took off the valve cover to see if there was any damage or any signs of wearing, and the oem timing chain was still 100% intack....this car was cared for on a religious basis...every oil change was done 3,000mi or less, and had all the fluid changes done on a annual basis...the only thing they had to change was the windshield wipers, and tires....i changed the exhaust for a remus aftermarket one....but this car is awsoem i definatly robbed it from the man...i bought it for $1,850(usd)....im hopein for it to get me through college....

I have a 1997 C280 Sport in the UK...only 57,000 miles...just had the big main dealer service...runs well and i hope it goes as well as your cars seem to be doing....any word on whether the V6 is as durable as the inline 6?

My old C220D had just over 180,000 miles when I came to sell it.
My C180 had slightly less around 148,000.
