: I have my former, modified, 1985 190D submitted to my web site, which may be usefull for anyone who wants to modify his/her own car...
greetingz,
I have an 87 190d that I'm think of putting on lowerings springs and new shocks. Did you have to do anything special to the rear suspension? Or does an alignment take care of everthing.
I had lowered my 190D about 6cm in the front and 3cm in the rear (I started at an european standard height) and only had to align the car again. Algning the rear is no problem, the front can be a bit difficult to align if the car is lowered a lot. The alignment shop can get a pretty good alignment results out of a lowered car that should be no problem.
greetingz,
