93 190E 2.3 several questions

1- At first the sunroof open and close ok but some times can't tilt. Couple days latter I realized that when it's closed, the rear edge is a little lowered then the roof. And now 95% of time when I close it, the rear edge is a lot lowered the the roof surface, to the level I think water can easily leak through. Anyone has this problem fixed by DIY? and how? Detail instruction will be great :)
PS: open and close still work OK.
2- This car still has carburetor. If I extent the air intake duct (the way Shawn Fog did to BMW if you ever heard of), will it gains any low end? How about noise? My sister is the main driver of this car, so I won't do it if it makes too much noise.
3- My first question couple lines below was about the temperature needle goes too high. I still hoping to get some ideas. If anyone does have any idea, I am very appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
You've already
done what most people do to lower the temp. and/or
preventive maintenance as they call it. If the
temp is really close to red line, you're temp gauge
must be out of whack.
Regards,
Alan
