When I get new tires for the winter, I'd like to get something with a slightly shorter sidewall. Over the winter I want to get my summer wheels/tires ready to go on - what would be some suggestions for the size of wheel and tire to give it good curb appeal - I like the low profile look - but anything less than 2-3 inches would likely look a bit off on the 190's.

My buddy Sev bought a nice looking set of SLK wheels, 16" with 205 tires, off craigslist for his W201 2.6.
Not sure about the offset, but they look great.
a good daily driver size is a 16" wheel with a 50 or 55 series tire. not really a low profile tire, nor something you'd see on an '80s Cadillac. 17" wheels bring tires in the 40-45 series, maybe 50? both sizes look good on a lowered 190.
