my speedo has a mind of its own.
Can drive off and speedo works normally.Stop and start off again and it seems to read 50 per cent fast. next time I can wind the thing off the clock. Next time back to normal. I'm basing correct speed as 100km at about 3000rpm, is this about right.I presume an electrical problem but don't know what.
Just found out speedo is cable driven.Does this help?Thanks.
Problem was speedo full of oil.
Should there be an oil seal somewhere?
