Question head bolt torque question

here's what the pdf manual says-

tighten cylinder head bolts in stages in the order of the tightening diagram, beginning with 1.

1st tightening state 55 Nm
2nd tightening stage 90 angle of rotation
3rd tightening stage 90" angle of rotation

so my question is twofold-
- those 2nd and 3rd stages, they are literally a 90 degree turn from where 55 Nm (about 40 lbs/ft) leaves off , and then 3rd stage a 90 degree turn from the end of the 2nd stage 90 degree turn?

and

if that is so, anyone have those figures in Nm or lbs feet?

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overtorqueing and ruining everything.
