I've got an 86 190E that's got a problem that seems pretty common, but I can't find a solution anywhere here. The heater or A/C blower fan always blows full speed. Would this be the fan switch, relay, or as someone here at work suggested, a resistor on the blower motor. I've got the Hayes manual, so a general idea of where to find the component would be great, and I can probably get the specifics from the book.
thats definatly a resistor problem you have there its under the hood area on the passenger side under the windshield there will be a plastic cover that will just pop right off then under there youll see various things like ovp and the resistor wich will be located on the left side of that little area it looks like a coil in a little box with a heat sink just snaped over the top its got holes in it then the coils will be inside very easy to get to its very easy to see and ull understand what im talking about when you get in there
