As everyone in the jersey krew knows my car made weird noises when i started it and it turned out to be a fly wheel-starter issue so my engine was pretty much done. that was when i started to drive my volvo again. My 87 as you all know i found in a ditch and dropped my drive train into from my old 85 that i wrecked, drove the 87 for about a year and it was a fun year. well over the winter my buddy shane got his girl friend a 190 and got into a fender bender that totalled the car it was an 87 190 in blue too. so i had arranged to tow the wrecked 87 to drop the motor into my old 87s shell. i sold it to him and helped him in the first engine swap he ever did, it took a while but as of tonite it was finally done. I had taken some of my modifications off of it such as the euro parts and all the hard to find stuff. the car i know is in great hands, theres some details that need to be addressed but the drive train is in and the car runs like a champ. its sad to see something i put alot of time and effort into go but knowing that it is in the hands of a benz guy im fine. the car will get some body work done to it and it'll be good as new. its good to see a old friend goto a good home. its good to be able to let go of a project. As you all know i got my hands on a 93 2.3 with super clean, super low miles that needs a quarter panel, with shanes old 87 here i can finally get to work on fixing it. ill post some goodbye pics i snapped earlier tonite with the 190s and with the volvo.
