On my 190, recently I am experiencing a problem that I can't seem to figure out. While braking or slowing down, I often hit the clutch and put the transmission in neutral, however, the RPM's go so low that the car stalls(all the idiot lights turn on). When the car is still in motion, with the engine off, I can put the car into 2nd gear... RELEASE the clutch and bam... the car is back on again. While driving or acceleratingly, the car behaves normally. Its only while braking that I experience this annoying symptom. The car can stall in both ways, one with the car slowing down in neutral... the other, with the car slowing down with the clutch depressed all the way down. In both cases, if the car has not slowed down fully, I can put the car in 1 or 2nd gear and let go of the clutch to have it start up again.
Any ideas on where I should look into?
thanks inadvance

is the A/C on? i used to experience the same thing in my sportline, so i just stopped using it lol
No AC on my 190 from factory. Besides, its not normal behavior even with AC to do... so what is the cause? Saying not to use AC (even if I had it) is not a cure to the problem. Anyone else have ideas?
well first an foremost I am sure you know that any manual car can be started by dropping the clutch into gear while the car is in motion a dead starter on my old ford had me doing this constantly.
if u were to start the car normally and rev it up while stopped holding the brake will the car stall. does it stall on hard breaks only or also when u tap the brakes slowly as well?

Here's a strange observation... when I do as you wrote, the RPM's go up to say about 2500 ansd then let go, it will drop very low to just over 0 and act as if it were to stall but goes back to normal idle RPM (around 650 or so).
Current exhaust set up is headers to CAT to rear Remus box... if it helps determining the problem.
