Engine is back together. It runs geat, but there is a ticking coming from the head. I have the factory service manual (CD). Are the valves adjustable? If so how? MTI BenzWorld Elite Date registered: Aug 2002 Vehicle: '85 190E 2.3 '85 2.3-16 '99 C280 Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Posts: 2,396	The valves have hydraulic valve lifters, so there is no "adjustment" in the usual sense. You may have a sticking lifter.
