Acceleration problem 1989 190E Hi all,
I have a 190E (automatic) and am having some issues with acceleration and the speedometer. If I am in town at low speeds, there is some shuddering or roughness at low speeds and it won't accelerate even with the gas pedal is on the floor--does fine at higher speeds. Also, the speedometer needle either doesn't work at all or jumps around all over the place. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
RaeAnn

Just had this, engine runs fine fast, won't come off idle ... fuel pump relay has a fuse on it, right in behind the battery.

Ask your workshop to check the OVP - Over Voltage Protection Relay.
That give lot of trouble after a while.
