To everyone coming:

If you have some extra clear corner tail-lights (pair), I'd like to buy them for a reasonable price. Or a very good condition air filter heat shield (I'm talking no rust on it and the wing nut). Bob, are you willing to part with yours?

what is the heat shield ?? ive been under a few of these cars and havent noticed one. bobs wont work he has a 2.6 an i think you have a 2.3 from your profile...

Heat shield/air filter cover/whatever you call it. It serves several purposes. I wasn't sure if a 2.6 one would fit. I've been around 2.3's my whole life.

2.6 wont fit. i might be able to get you one from my 85 thaet has a k&N in it.

Jip, we can either meet on the GSP where the AC Expressway meets it at exit 36 or we can meet at the ferry. I say we meet at exit 36 ish. Remember its best to hit the ferry stop at 10:30am So we are not burning rubber all the way down. Plus i'll have WildChild and he drive slow as a mother last time but i think thats because his car was running like hell.

Well the 2.6 is nearly back together... had to order a fuse from the dealer. It looks like one of the bulbs but it's not. Tricky Germans. Guess it's 3V. Anyway if the SOB isn't in tomorrow I'll be riding this weekend with no cluster...

Man, that sucks. You had to order a fuse from the dealer? Shoulda hit me up. I got spares somewhere, I think.
