I wouldnt hack it off, just add some metal onto it to create a smooth slope transition from the middle edge.

beautifull grill,.. where would one find that grill for sale? I looked at Germanstar but coulnd't find that one. I recently attached the Mercedes leaf emblem on the hood of the car and i'm looking for a plain grill with no badges on it. this one would be perfect..

I think the grille badge along the top/front portion would make it look complete. As it is, the big/wide chrome area along the top/front seems overpowering.

I like it a lot. I'm thinking of an new grill for the 2.6. I also like looking through the star... probably why we all have several grilles.
