Beautiful
We're quite thrilled too.
This darkened photo reveals the accuracy and the saturation of the reflective surface. The fluorescent ceiling lamp is accurately reflected in the paint.
For the glossy body photos, I switched to a 9 megapixel Nikon for future posting of high resolution shots.

2.3-16 Drying
The car spent the day drying.
There were errors in some areas which are being wet sanded, blown dried and resprayed.
The underside will be restored next.
Paul at Helms Brothers reports that new glass is inbound: the rear pane is coming from Chicago and may not arrive before the weekend. He also says that a grab bag, round 2, is being assembled. This will be rubber gaskets, window and door seals, strips and clips. The cladding clips are similar to a barb on a fish hook. Once it seats at the factory, it has to be broken off for repair and then replaced.
So, once the grab bag part 2 arrives, the car will be dry enough for a polishing buff and will immediately afterwards be quickly reassembled.

Meets
Jippi and everyone,
Of course the car will go to meets. That is one of the two primary reasons it was restored: to be seen and admired. The second reason is that such a car does not deserve to remain in warehouse condition.
However, you have to be patient with the car. It's still a little way off from highway travel.
In the first photo, the team discovered a minor error in the starboard quarter panel and wet sanded it. They will respray this area or buff as needed to correct it.
In the second photo, the dash needs a new center vent outlet. In the magnified photo with the white arrow, a crack in the original outlet was hidden in open view. I checked around the center console area recently and discovered a crack in that lower corner plastic of the center vent's left outlet. So Paul got me a new one. It has to be installed.
In the third photo, the rear skirt is reshaped and primed for paint. However, as you can see, there is a prominent bulge above where the error was located. Deen believes this damage happened because someone placed an object under that area of the skirt, the tires lost their air over time and the car lowered itself onto that object leaving the skirt damaged.
Also, remember that the blower does not work so I need to replace either or both the button array or the blower motor, and the antenna does not work so it too has to be escorted to the dumpster and a new one put in its stead.
After all this is done, then the car is ready to be seen in public.
