Thank you so much for showing the receipts. If you don't mind can you check how much these parts will cost:
1. Rear trunk spoiler with the brake light
2. Rear deck (where the rear speakers are mounted)
Does the dealer still stock all the parts for the sound systems? TIA

whoa-whoa--Did you ask/pre negotiate your parts rate from the dealership before you started? I've got a wholesale account with my local dealership and my keys run around 11-12 bucks or so--sadly, I've never bought anything else on your list

The rear spoiler has been "not available" from MBUSA for years. Now that the W201 qualifies for "classic" status, the Classic Center in Irvine, CA may be of some assistance.

I believe that the rear "hat rack" is still available.

I pay their asked for price. I also make them copy keys using the correct slugs. The cheap versions break inside the ignition lock. The remainder of the grab bag was not negotiable, and for this car, I would pay any price anyway.

The fuel tank assembly arrived today and the car is in the work bay.

Esther says the shop policy is that no non-employees may be in the work area so photos will be difficult.

The 16 valve fuel tank is one of those little known upgrades for other W201 owners, since it's the largest capacity fuel tank for our cars, you get a bit more cruising range if you can find a decent used one.

It is 70 litres in capacity and Helms Brothers called me this afternoon to announce the 16v is ready for pickup tomorrow after the bill is closed out.

Next: body work.

Thank you for the two links. Neither has the molded carpets for the car. I have a local interior shop that will examine the car after Helms is done with it.

Thanks, I didn't know that. Now I will be on the lookout for one, but can I use it on a 190D? I am wondering if the inlet/outlet/vent etc are the same as the gassers.
