Hi, I own a 1984 190D and it was given to me as a first car, to fix up. (Front end damage) I was wondering if I can make my headlights that are flat with the front of the car instead of a few inches back ...can i just get the headlights from a later model or would that not work?
those are euro lights you want, which are a common upgrade.

I need a benz bad........
I agree with jippi & 355190E26....
Get Euros, they look amazing & 100 times better light output........
and they'll look good with the color of your car ..................
by the way, nice car & welcome to MB.................
Actually, that's not bad !
Make sure that they pack & ship them properly !
You don't want recieve them broken !
Also, don't worry about installing them (very easy, approx. 1 hr job).
p.s. get clear corner lights too !
This seller is great. I've delt with him a couple of times. Great fit lights....
[quote=Logon_Bob;2631056]I kinda like these. Anyone ever tried em? Also on Ebay. Item item200174849218 if the link doesn't work out.
Ugh. total rice crap..if it was a honda sure it'd work perfect. But we're talking about a Mercedes here. I wouldn't buy anything except Bosch (although pricey). If $$ is an issue find a different brand but not these. My brother had a pair of TYC on this 190D 2.5 Turbo and they weren't very good quality either, but had better light output than the USDOT version. Good luck in your search and remember think Bosch :

I don't think those lights really look good on 190's either. I remember reading somewhere that the corners aren't plug and play either. Euros are the way to go.
