1992 2.6 sportline 5 spd question

Hi everyone, i was lookign into buying new drilled rotors from r-1 concepts on ebay

eBay Motors: MERCEDES 190E 87-93 woASR F+R D/S Brake Rotors + Pads (item 220161273772 end time Nov-15-07 14:58:06 PST)

i dont get what asr is though... the link i provided is without asr, i dont think 190e's had asr except maybe the 16v? anyone know if these will work with my car? id appreciate it

ASR is traction control. Came as an option form '91 on I think. I don't think it was available with manual transmissions. If you have it there will be a yellow ASR light in the speedo part of the cluster. I never saw a 16V with ASR but I've only seen manual 16Vs. Can't see why those brakes won't work.

how many manual 5 speed sportlines were made or imported in the us?


also is there a site that has 5 speed manual trannys for performance that i could drop in my car? or do they exist somewhere?

Some say less than the 16V models imported between '86 and '87, that's somewhere around 2000.

Getrag transmission form a 16V and LSD with the 3.27:1 ratio???
