they arent not as high maintaince as mercedes benz. If you keep on top of things and do routine maintenance it gives you little trouble. The parts prices arent too bad either.
I love those cars. How hard (read : $$$) are they to maintain?
woooow, quite cheap indeed, such a difference! For the money I have spent on the Benz so far I would have had a totally souped up (=VR6) Golf II. That little car scored high on my fun per Euro scale.
Milo, tell us some more about the red bugger.... 1.781 cc / 90 HP I assume?
parts are INSANELY cheap, i spend 200 dollars on parts for the motor for regular maintanence, id have to spend prolly 500 for the benz. the timing belt is about a 40 minute job, IF that. all i know is that its a 1.8l motor, 8v with a 4k tranny. i think it has about 100 hp or so, but i hope to bring it up to atleast 125ish or so. ill eventually go with a 16v, but thatll be like one of the last things for it lol.

and i change my mind i like them , just takes a while, i originaly didint like the 190e, bodyshape, even when i bought it i really wanted a 500sel, but i grew into it
and found real LOVE lol
nah its real nice milosz, at least when it brakes down theres less things to go wrong and wont cost u a arm and a leg
ps, no air con, dosent that mean no defog?, on those wet humid days ur gonna be wiping ur windscreen with a terry towel, in the morning traffic
