Fuel filter on a 190?
Hi, can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is on a 190. Its a carb so not the 190E injection! Also, how do I go about changing it?
Thanks
Norman

It's part 5 in this diagram, sorry I couldn't get the part number, maybe if you supply the car model and year of manufacture I'll be able to check it.

Thanks for the diagram. I actually have the filter already. Where abouts on the actual car is all that located?? Is it somewhere by the fuel tank?

I'm going to guess that its in the same place as the Injection models. Under the car just to the front of the right rear wheel.

I was about to guess the same, Yal, but that bracket and the kinda short hose suggested me that's somewhere in the front of the engine in the thermostat area...

You may be right if the diagram is too scale.

I guess the hose lurks below the intake manifold to the engine front, I hope bielefeld280se will post some pictures on carburetor 190 engine bay that he has. Sounds interesting that we see some on the site.
