Due To Popular Demand I Will Make Walk through's For Other Popular Photo Uploading Programs.
Photobucket:
Photobucket is similar to imageshack but has a variety of additional options that make life easier for those of you who upload tons of images.
It is a membership required website, but membership is a free service.
So what you will first want to do is log into the
Photobucket website. For this walk through I am going to make a 190Revolution account that any members can freely use or use it as a guide to making your own album.
The registration process is easy and fairly quick. When you get to the Photobucket website you will want to click the red button indicating that you would like to register for a Photobucket account.
After clicking this link it will transfer you to the 2 step process. The first process is to chose your desired user name and password. For this walk through my user name will be 190Revolution. (A handy little window will pop open while you are typing in your user name asking if you would like to check its availability) The password is 190rev.
After choosing the link to continue you will be brought to the final step of registration before you can upload your pictures.
In this process you will be asked for your First and Last name, Email address, gender, DOB, zip code and then to enter the security code that is shown on your screen. (Do remember that this security code changes for everyone so that programmed bots can not make and spam a Photobucket account)
As soon as you click continue, you're done! Simple as that. It will automatically log in and take you to the uploading page.
Photobucket offers a bunch of nice little things such as the ability to create sub albums. (albums with your main album, if you wish to use the 190Revoutlion account please make a sub album using your 190Revolution member name)
The first image that I am going to upload will be the "ainokea" window decal that I have placed on my car.
So from the uploading page I am going to click browse and search for the picture that I want.
After finding the correct image you click OK and it will put your picture into the text box. A fun little feature after you click your image to upload. Photobucket created another text box under the picture asking you what you would like to describe your image as. For this I just typed in "Rear End Picture With window Decal." Also if you would like, you can click the
Uploading Options link under the text box to bring up a list of options.
Since we have a free Photobucket account we do not have the option to upload any images bigger than 1024x768. Generally I keep my settings on 800x600 so the pictures become thread friendly and do not bring up the side to side scroll bars.
Click the
Upload button and wait as your picture is transfered into your new online Photobucket album.
When the image is finished uploading it will appear down at the bottom of the page.
One great thing about Photobucket is that it already gives you the image link in the [.IMG] tags. All you have to do is simply click it once to highlight it, then copy and paste it to where ever you want to.
And here is the picture!
Another great function Photobucket is that instead of uploading pictures one by one, you have the ability to upload 1, 5, and even 20 photo's at a single time.
To do so all you need to do is click the "
Add more images" link under the uploading box.
