Very informative and useful video, I may say, foolproof for nAm owners out there. It's a must to get it into the sticky (as many posts along the way about various problems and fixes). You know, the newbies (or mechanically unaware individuals) first yell and then search (they at least have a single page to dig into...like I said, foolproof)...

A must there would be the console and cluster removal, brake pads change, e-brake adjustment, and engine tune-up. Add more if you think about any useful first-moves for a newbie.
the video will deff come in handy when i get my hands on some euros. oh and the hood latch should pop out when you pull the hood release.... not have to mess wit it . thx for the vid. learned how to turn on my fogs =)

Well. next time you go to pull the "trunk" release and your hood latch comes out. Take a video and show me.
dave, tomorrow im having some dude look at the GLI, idk if you wanna roll by here tomorrow or what. also another guy is coming to look at the rims hopefully. i was gonna say if you came here we can hit up the junkyard and see what they got.
