Alright I'm bringing it back. Earlier tonight someone mentioned the fusebox so I did the search and found the layout. I didn't realize that there was a relay that controled both the rear window defroster and the wipers. Because I've now realized that the car only acts up with BOTH of those things on. So now that I've already ordered the wiper motor and all that, does someone think there could be issues with that relay that could be screwy? Ill attach a picture of the fuse box, its a shitty picture from my phone, but tell me if you notice anything out of place or mysterious.
Also, what is the second picture for? It's in the trunk underneath the passenger side tail light
I think so too, but Im not sure what voltage or amps each color is? what is white? what is red? what is blue? Because I changed them all to the exact same place as it was when I bought the car. So could someone pleast take a pic of the their fuse box?
5. So tell me, how do I get in and check all that? Because when I put the wipers on level 3, the car will shake back and forth with the wipers.(you can feel the car go side to side)
That's perfectly normal and is an indication of a good wiper motor. My C280 does that on wiper position 3 too. Don't bother buying a new wiper motor.
I think you might be on to something with that wiper relay, but first I'd check the alternator.
the nice thing is that I don't have to pay for the wiper motor or anything else thats going wrong. The dealer that I bought it from said "EVERYTHING" worked perfect...they f*cked up major...they just the other day replaced both front window regulators and motors. They just got in my Wiper motor and OVP. So I might be getting a new alternator and relay as well. bastards.
Realistically, they're probably getting close to putting a halt to any more repairs, unless you have a warranty through them. This is a money-losing proposition for them, and frankly they'd rather sell brand new cars than repair old cars. But assuming that they're brand new parts, then by all means soak the dealer for as much as you can!
