If the shake develops in third stage of wipers IMO I think it's logical to try to swap the combined wipers/blinkers controls (seek one at the local JY) and see what happends. Maybe there's a short in the switch at the third stage that kills the power supply to the engine's spark distribution.

5. So tell me, how do I get in and check all that? Because when I put the wipers on level 3, the car will shake back and forth with the wipers.(you can feel the car go side to side)
is the engine causing the shakes? is the car idling rough when the wipers are turned on causing the shakes? my old 85 and the 87 the car moves left and right when the wipers are on i assumed it was normal because my other cars did a similar thing but it never stalls. i figured that the left and right shake was caused by the force of the motor going back and forth. you need to be a little more specific. on my buddys old 420sel it would shake if its on 3, but never stalls.

No, the engine doesn't shake on its own. The car idles fine when just sitting with the wipers on. When I put them on level 2 or 3 the oil pressure and voltimeter will drop halfway down and then the car will try to start stalling. It really only stalls when I'm on the freeway though. Other then that, I'm not too sure what else I can say. I may just take it in
Check to insure that your belt tensioner is doing is job. The belt can be slipping at the alt. at high load. Now try this: shut the car down when the wiper arm is extended out of the wiper cam head. Pull the cover off exposing the shaft that moves in and out of the cam head. Clean off the shaft and lubricate the shaft with some CRC or WD-40. Believe it or not, the load [ amps ] on the wiper motor will come down. BTW - never remove any cable off of the battery when the engine is running as someone suggested as you will blow your alt..
I thought you were talking about a relay or something~ This weekend hopefully it warms up a bit so I can get that all taken apart and lubed up. I don't have snow tires on it so I pretty much garage it until spring. I just drive my '04 explorer through the snow.
Sorry to get back on this topic again, but someone mentioned that they though it could be the alternator not doing its job correctly and that could be true. I was under the hood looking at it and the black "wire" I guess you could call it looks cracked and almost broken. So I think that could be the culprit, anyone think that sounds right besides me?
