Dont know about your country, in South-Africa we had only about 500 2.3 8v 190E, Sporline`s. They were released here in only during 1993 and with the sportline suspension. No "standard" 2.3`s were released.
We have two in the family, one white and one grey/silver both with the black leather interiors.
hey havnt replied about that, the year i believe is 1992, i havn't even checked in on it sadly. I got it from my mother. Is this car rare? i never see manual 5 speed 190e 2.6 sportlines on ebay. I am thinking about trying something a little crazy, but its worth a try i guess why not have fun. I am going to put these headlights in: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-93...spagenameZWDVW
i may spray paint my plastic part of grill black and get the chrome grill kit to go with, lets hope it looks kay. It will be a bit wacky but i will keep all original parts.
any advice on a sound system? I'm looking at a total for around 300$
also my car for a 6 cylindeer seems to excellerate slow when i have the fot down, is there any performance enhancements for the 190e 2.6 sportline 5 speed manual trans? Any suggestions? it has 178,000 miles.

may be compared to the power band of the 560 SEL it might be slower, but for real the Sportline is supposed to accellerate faster than the generic 2.6. Think it's in need of a long drive to burn all the crud out. Is you mom a city driver? If yes, I probably know why it feels slow. Managed to perk up the Volvo that my dad-in-law used to drive for 26 years. Right now that car surges from every traffic light like a raped ape
