Well I took her in for the MOT and she passed! Not even an advisory on it! I am very happy. It helps that the bloke was a benz fan I guess! Still going to do the bushes and replace the front breaks etc but its a relief to know I am not wasting my time!
YAY!!

Pics tomorrow I have done a few more jobs on it aswell! Looking at buying another one that I have spotted to get a few bits off! My mother will be pleased when that turns up on the driveway!
Mine was a week overdue but apparently that would get me in trouble here. Very annoying!
As requested here are some photos. Not up to my normal standards I'm afraid as I wasnt using my camera and it was getting dark so quickly I didnt have time to go anywhere nice!
I ingeniously fixed the fog lamp warning light which was broken by wiring in a spare red LED I had, quite chuffed with that
I have an experimental grill on, its properly laquered etc. Don't worry I still have a silver one!
Good on you for the ceaseless commitment Andy, but ithink the grille frame would look much, much better colour-matched to the body.
i like that insert with your car.

Colour coding it is one of the next jobs, I really like that idea. I just havent had time to do it yet. Going to do it at the same time as doing some minor body repairs. Also cleaning up my silver grill.
I also finally found a sheet of carbon fibre that wasnt expensive. My new interior parts are finally going to be made. I have made up the templates just need to do the cutting. Still on the look out for a cossie interior!
