Hi Guys. i got adventurous with rim and tyre choices but got away with it. I bought hammer copies, Australian made CSA VIPs, with a ET38 offset, and Nankang NS2 225-45-17, yes thats right 225, and they clear on full lock to lock even on bottom suspension travel on the front. rear clearance was no problem at all. To test front clearance i chained the front end to almost full travel on a 4 post hoist and with the front tyres on wheel alignment rotating plates rotate the fronts back and forward. There was still enough clearance to the strut to allow for tyre sidewall roll. i mention this as some members advised that 215 was the absolute maximum width for clearance on a 190e.
