OVP Relay?

What exactly does this thing do. And if this relay were bad would the car still pump fuel and create spark? (because mine does, it just wont start).

I am having a problem with my car (see my other threads to find out more).

Thanks for the info.

The over voltage protection relay provides constant power to the ECU to ensue the fueling system works correctly. It also powers other systems such as the ABS.

If faulty or not working the ECU will not read data from the engine sensors correctly and make incorrect adjustments – or no adjustments at all – often resulting in a rough idle or overall poor performance.

The relay has a 10 amp fuse that may have blown, check that first.

is your check engine light on? Indeed, check that fuse first.... it could be a 50 cent solution to a much bigger problem
