That fitting I don't think it needs to be replaced. A good cleaning will do the job. I my case has made miracles.

It has a seal ring (part number: N 007603 012110) on the distributor side, careful on that or replace it.

I'm sorry that I din't made any pictures of mine to see how clogged up was. I just blow some compressed air in it and everything was fine again.

I tried it without an air compressor, cleaned it out got no change. My mechanic said i had low compression all around (90-100 psi) and lower when warm and he thinks that is why i have starting issues especially when warm. Theory is either the rings or the valves. Also the benz cuts out when slowing down every once in a while so i was hoping to fix it without having to buy an idle speed valve. (which my mech said i needed)

how do you test the maf to see if its going bad? im gonna look into it but using a volt meter how do u tell if its lean or rich? my car feels lean. wish i had the manuals here wit me
