Unhappy 190e 1987(?) 2.3

Hi, I'm very new to this community and very excited, I recently obtained at *cough*crappy*cough* 190E from my parents who bought it 2 years ago and basically never drove it because it's pretty far from happy. The owners before that barely drove the thing for years, and it really needs some TLC. Basically, my air conditioner doesn't work, but it blows. I can't tell if it's blowing in hot air or just outside intake because it's 90*F out most days.. but I know the heater works because I used it in the winter.. which brings to the fact that the middle air vent only blows cold air in the winter, no heated, so i just shut it. the windows didnt work, but I replaced the fuses and now they work fine. the OEM becker grand prix 754 radio doesnt work, it just shows "-- -- -- --", so I probably want to replace the headunit, where can i find wire diagrams or something??

Now for the biggest issues of all. It gets ~15 or less MPG, and shakes pretty badly and makes quite the horrible noise. Pretty bad accel, but I've never driven another one so I don't know what's normal. It has a squeaky rattling frame all the time my friends dad said it was probably the manifold and the engine wasnt getting the proper compression so it rattles and has bad mileage.. So basically I love the look of the car, but no music, and horrible mileage, and shaking, and no air conditioning in a very humid, hot summer.. how can I find out how to fix these problems, and how much will it cost? because I love my car, and would really just like to make it happy..

(ps. im sure i could list off more things like the missing button on the parking brake so i cant use that, and i think the vacuum key door locking system is a little askew because it only locks from the inside on some doors, my seats are hard to adjust and feels like a fat person has been sitting in them because of shot support or something, but i can live with those. top priorities are music, and air conditioning, and gas mileage and fixing the shaking)

HELP?

For starters, welcome to the forum !
This is the place to find out great info & in no time, your car will be running
better than P-Ditty's..........
-the shaking is probably contributed by bad motor mounts & tune-up (approx. $400)
-the stereo, scrap it & get yourself a CD player (approx. $100 installed)
-the air-cond. probably needs a charge & check for freon leak (approx. $100)
-the seat will move freely if you spray wd-40 on the seat rails
-gas mileage will increase for the better after a good tune-up (dist. rotor, spark
plugs, dist. cap, fuel filter, clean throttle-body, air filter and so on.......)
-the little button on your parking brake cost about $2.00 at Mercedes & it's
easy to replace
-for your door locks, you probably have vacuum leaks at the actuators. In this
case, all door panels must come off to see where vacuum is leaking (pwr. door
locks are powered by air-vacuum)
Good luck with your ride............
p.s. post some pics....................

15mpg or less sounds like O2 sensor.

For the door locks, examine the vacuum lines for the trunk lock and fuel door first. They are easiest to get to and may be the source of the problem. My door locks weren't working, it was simply caused by a disconnected vacuum line on the trunk lock.

The shake is almost certainly a bad motor mount. I just got one of mine replaced and it fixed it right up. Have them sheck the distributor too because something was wrong with that too and it made the problem worse. Bad mounts seem to be a common source of the shaking though.
