fresh paint

Here is my 190e fresh out of the spraybooth, almost back on the road. Ill fit my 17" hammer rims and lowered springs next. I bought it 7 months ago in original form with a nasty rear hit. i replaced the beaver panel, and with help fitted a zender widebody flare & sideskirts & sports bars , then a Lorinser SEC bonnet & rear wing. The colour is original signalrot 1. We rarely see kitted Benz' here in Aus so this is something different. Thanks for all your tips benzworld prople, it has helped my project. A few engine mods for a bit more power is next on the drawing board, open to any suggestions, its a 2.3 8v.

Thanks for the comments guys, its nice to get some good encouragement, and everyone from benzworld has been a big help so thanks to you all. Most people seem to like it. Hey would anyone have some pics of a V8 190e? i saw a few pics of an old carlsson conversion here recently, im now sort of thinking about shoehorning in a 380 SEC V8engine & Getrag manual.

Hi mralston. i bought my zender widebody kit as new-old stock off ebay. The bonnet and rear wing are Lorinser. Carshine here in australia used to sell these kits. i dont know if he has anymore left. The AMG kits have similar bumpers to mine, with the horizontal louvre look, but i dont know where you might find noce rounded old school fender flares. Plenty of places still sell W201 kits, the best ive seen is by Reiger, also Wald are nice, both thier EVO 2 kit looks great. good luck, keep an eye on ebay.
