Here are some pics of the 500e at the local dealer, I took them late today and it was dark, I lightehed them at home.
I has the trunk issue with the paint and a busted out passenger corner light, 162,000 mile and it needs to be cleaned inside, I would pay maybe 9k, they want $13k
Off topic - well not exactly. A W201 owner natual upgrade would be to a W124.
The W124 500E is a beauty. Here in Europe you could get it for 5.000 to 20.000 Euro, depending of milage and appearence. 14.000$ seems to be a fair price ...

Well I went back today to talk to a sales guy and to check it out, it was sold.
The funny thing is I was telling him about the car, how it is a special, he was like, "Oh" he had no freakin clue.
That is a pet peeve of mine, if you are going to sell a line of cars at least have a clue!!
I know many BMW people have gone to stealerdhips and they have asked the salesman to see an E46 M3 and they have replied something like "Oh we don't have any of those", in case you are not up on BMW, the E46 M3 came out in 2001, the ironic thing is they do have them on the lot, the salesguy just had no clue what he wanted.

you should go over to your local BMW stealership and tell them you're interested in purchasing an E28 Alpina B7 Twin Turbo...
it will probably take them acouple of days to figure out what it is!
