Oh yeah the tires are BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Z 205/50/16
Just by the name of them, can't be a bad choice![8D][;)]
I had them mounted/balanced at NTB, the guy said it was a good choice

Cost me $65

I want to lower the car, but my concern is rubbing again if I do.
you shouldn't have any problems with that set of tires and wheels with that offset when you go to lower it.

these clk 16x7 et37 (sizing identical to yours) 6-spoke lightweight wheels are popular and handful of people use them on their lowered 190s.

i run a set of aftermarket 8-hole wheels (16x7.5 et40) with a 205/50 tire and my suspension is lowered to about the same height as a Sportline. cars an '87 2.3 w/o any rubbing. though i plan on going lower with stiffer springs.

Pawsh! thanks for posting that pic of the CLK rims cuz ive always wanted to know what they look like on a 16v. Ive thought about buying a set, but they are just god-awful ugly, their benefit being their weight. idk what the hell mercedes was thinking when they forged those things, but they look like steelies. anyways, now i know i wont be getting them. thanks
