how many ft/lbs did you torque your wheels down with?
I did it by hand with just a regular lug wrench
Shouldn't be a reason for the rubbing if done ok.
Is the offset of these wheels much of a difference than the old ones? Do they stick out more (much?)?
I'd say closely inspect the complete fenders all the way from bumper to panel. Greater offset wheel on these cars mostly rub the little panel first, then the fender itself.

I took it to the shop and you can see where the outside rim of the tire rubs against the metal fender right where the fender and bumper meet, they rolled it some but it still rubbed. The tire itself sits farther outside of the wheel well thats what the problem is.
My shocks/struts could use replacing which would eliminate some of that cushion in the old ones, new ones will take bumps bteter and not give as much
