will the boot star for the w107\123\126 fit the w201?

My 190e got it's rear badge stolen, and i can find a replacement on ebay for $20-$30, but only ones for either the w107, the w123 or w126 series.

Anyone know which of the above would fit?

I checked on ebay and a person had listed a star for the w126 and w201. So I guess it will[:)]

Well there you go. I thought they were different as the are shaped for the boot lid. It will probably fit the holes in the bootlid but may not match the contours of the boot. If you can get them cheap may be worth a gamble. I had mine nicked about a year ago and I am sure I only paid about Â£3 for one from a main dealer.

I am breaking a 2.5-16 I am sure the boot star is still on it. If I can get it off in one piece you are more than welcome to it. I don't mind posting it.
