hi i'm looking into replacing the door speakers because mine are blown. do i have to take the whole door apart to get to these?
also what diameter speakers are they? i've heard they are 4.5.. would any 4.5 speaker work?
lastly, would you recomend i get new wiring or just use what is already there?
I think the door speakers are 4". You dont really need rewire it. The stock wires are good, but if you want to replace them you can. But it will be a job. Door panels need to come off.
just use the existing wiring... had to replace
one of those speakers last year and it is indeed quite a job. You need to take off the door panel. From there it is pretty straightforward.
