door panel removal

Does anyone know how to remove the back door paneling? The window is stuck down and the windo motor is broken. I dont want to just go in there ripping off paneling and break something.
Thanks Eric

RE: door panel removal

Undo the plastic door lock pull up pin, the plastic door latch cover screw on the side of door where the catch is, then carefully pry off the interior door handle trim piece that surrounds the door handle, then unbolt the arm rest and disengage the door latch rod by sliding the trim piece with the door handle out. Then you lift the panel to disengage the glued on hooks that hold the panel to the door. Be careful not to tear the plastic moisture barrier. If you do, you can easily replace it with plastic sheeting and some trim adhesive. Before you can get it all off, unplug the window lift electrical connector on the backside. The door panel comes off.

If you break any off the plastic hooks.....you can glue them back on with hot glue. [;)]
