Today i bought my first car, A 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 litre has 150k km on the clock and is in charcole grey. I paid CAD$3900.00 for it. Its in tip top shape, perfect interior and perfect exterior. I will uploads pics soon.
I'm taking it in, to a highly recomended garage which deals with old mercedes on monday, and do a full tuneup and get the paint guy to do the touch ups.
They seem to be strong cars. Rode in one in Hungary a few years ago. Part of Russia is in Europe... and the USSR encompassed much of Europe back in the day when they were building Ladas.
yeah - their Type ВАЗ-2101 / "Zhiguli" saloon and its derivates has been built for over 30 years, some 5.5 million or so have been "manufactured". Pretty sturdy as long as you go for the basic car without any trinkets. A Russian friend lent me his 2105 for a couple days. Great workout for arms and legs (like an 80s Toyota pick-up) .

150K km means 93,000 miles only.... good stuff. I bought mine with that exact mileage in 2003 (it's presently close to 170K miles). Cool, everything is neat (eh) and original. Congrats on your ride!
