heat shield rattle

ok. hopefully this comes out right and everyone understands. the exhaust heat shield (?) under my car is rattling pretty bad. does anyone know how to stop it or quieten it down? it sounds terrible at the moment [:(]

There are screws that hold the heatshields to the undercarriage of the car. Maybe a few of these have rusted off and this leaves the heatshield loose.

If its the small one that wraps the section that changes 2 pipes into 1. You can go to a good exhaust shop and have them put a few (very, very, light duty) tac welds on it. That is how the factory did it and they just come loose over the years.
