sway bar

sup guys this is the second time. the sway bar bracket broke for the second time what are the causes of this? the other thing is why does the engine run so rough why? cant figure it out

I'm assuming it's the front bracket, since it's bigger and more delicate than the rear. Usually the problem is more rust around the mounting point or failure of the bushing, but the simple answer, other than manufacturing defect, is stress/metal fatigue. Rather than putting on another OEM bracket, you might want to consider asking a metal shop to fabricate a heftier bracket for you. The pic below is the thumbnail from www.mrp-engineering.com that used to be $99 a pair, but I'm not sure if they're offering them anymore.
