Original spare tire question.

For a 1992 190E 2.6, what was the original spare wheel/tire like? Was it the same as the four wheels/tires on the car or was it just a plain steel wheel?

The original spare wheel and tire should have exactly like the wheels and tires that came on the car when new.

Thanks for the information, now I know what to buy to replace the spare I have which I know was not original, just in case I want to take the car back to original state.
