Car died today?

My car died today and has absolutely no power until jumpstarted, it started absolutely fine this morning, anyone have any ideas f what happened or what needs fixed/replaced? battery maybe, alternater was just replaced, and there is a NO power issue upon startup all of a sudden...

Yes, that’s the place to start: take the battery to auto zone or some such place and have it tested…

Sounds stupidily obvious but have you checked the altenator is plugged in properly? There is a retaining clip which might not be in position.

and check the batteryconnectors too
one day my car was dead too, i replaced the connectors and it was fixed

thanks alot for the replys, but today i cleaned some dirt n grime out of the engine bay and checked to see if the air filter was ok, it wasnt, and i cleaned that air box out too, for some reason now it idles wierd and im not sure what happened, all i did was cleaned out the air box???? the power problem is still an issue also ill look into the battery asap, thanks anyone know what happened with the idle?

Bad idle could be many things but if you were scraping muck and grime around the air intake some might have got inside the throttle body or you could have disturbed the vacume in some way check all the pipework under the airbox.
